Hitting the market in 2016, the BT500 bluetooth vinyl turntable was the rare consumer audio product released by Akai Professional. Announced at 2016 NAMM, I produced two artist marketing videos in a series called 'Last Four Records on Earth' with iconic DJs Nu-Mark and Gaslamp Killer. Produced in a limited edition run, Akai sold through all inventory within six months after the product launch.
